It is probably a very rare thing when you find someone in Wake Island without their handy dandy cell phone. Whether it's the latest phone fad or a prepaid one, as long as it calls and texts people you're fine!

Nowadays almost everyone, like the latest fads, has a Facebook account, Myspace account, or both. Stay connected, chat, or update your status all from your computer!

LYLAS, lol, jk, wat? Got not clue what was I just said? Then you probably don't stay connected with your friends through the instant messenger.

Is the hype of Spacebook really too much for you? Do you prefer something you can actually type out - blogs are your answer. Or, if perhaps your character is more of an introvert, journals may be the key. Dear Diary...

Whether you're a freshman or a returning student, the majority of your time at Wonderland Academy will be spent in the here, listening to your teachers. And whether you believe it or not, you might actually enjoy it from time to time.

The stereo-typed setting for bad food, stuffy air, and food fights! The cafeteria here is big with at least fifty tables for you to choose from. Foods like pizza, pasta, salad, and homemade cookies are made here. Of couse, if cafeteria food isn't to your fancy, you could go down the street and pick up something from McDonald's.

Whether you need somewhere quiet to go or you need a book for a project, the library here is one of the largest on the island. It's got two stories full of history, fiction, and science just waiting to be checked out.

The gym. Stinky, sweaty, and not somewhere that you look forward to going to.

The Wake Island Police Station whether you're in for the night or a couple years, this can't be good news for anyone. Unless of course, you work here.

Your average, run-of-the-mill general hospital, treating anything from pregnant mommies to a broken arm. An old brick building serves as the hospital.

Since the academy is located on an island it would only make sense if there were a few beaches scattered along the coast. There is one beach in particular, Willow Lagoon, that is one of the more popular ones. You can explore the caves, permitting you go with an expert, or swim in the beautiful, clear blue water of the Pacific Ocean.

The only mall on the island, the West Valley Mall has brand name shops like American Eagle and only shops known to the island like Wet Lagoon Clothing. Wherever you shop, though, don't forget to stop at the food court.

The Great Forest, located on the south side of Wake Island, takes about about one third of the island. There is an abundance of cute chipmunks and other woodland animals. There is also rumors that there is a small cottage located here.

The recreation fields of the island are big, considering how small the actual island is. There is a full-size soccer field, tennis courts, softball and baseball diamonds, and basketball courts for your enjoyment. Sports practices take place here.

In the mood for some food? Wake Island has many dining choices for you to choose from. There's Little Italy for all your Italian needs and Joe's Steakhouse and Grill if you're in the mood for a hamburger. There is also the chinese place and McDonald's.

A great place to go for a jog, walk your dog, or even go on a casual date. The pier is sure to impress anyone who has an affinity for the ocean. Vendors line the street selling their wares and every year for a couple of weeks a carnival is opened.
